Conditions:

Legal large scale systemic cruelty is shown in the below recent photos of USDA dog kennels, affecting an estimated 250,000 dogs that are considered livestock.

The conditions and low standards of care the dogs are forced to live in are appalling.  Lack of vet care, is seen over and over again in inspection reports.

  • Dogs can be caged for life.
  • The dogs can be kept in stressful conditions 24/7/365.
  • It’s legal to cage dogs in raised or stacked cages with wire flooring.
  • USDA dogs breeders can keep dogs in dark barns that are hot in the summer and cold in the winter.
  • Some kennels may be clean and sterile. No matter what, the mental and physical abuse to dogs living in these legal sub standard kennel conditions is immeasurable.
